Gravity and Weight

Gravity is a force of attraction which acts between any two masses in our universe. While the mechanism of gravity still remains a matter of research, Newton was able to empirically describe its behaviour in his  Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica (1686). These slides introduce Newton’s law of universal gravitation and also review the the concept of weight.
